This season makes it the "we want a research institution" excuse all the more laughable. Covid knocked them out when the team they excluded made it happen, and their members (UW) are spouting off on that same team without having done their...research.

Did they really think "being scared" is the only/primary reason BYU balked at playing them? It's like the date who thinks she didn't get asked out because he/she's intimidating, when he/she's really just not that attractive. It makes them feel better to allege a huge disparity in desirability as the cause, and not take a look at what they really have to offer.

More confirmation they think they're a 10, when the 6-7 is generous. You're being proven more and more right, Criddle.
