OUCH. Brace yourselves for being out of the top 10 in CFP rankings.

Modeling the playoff committee ranking behavior. Their average miss is .8 spots. Inside the top 10 their average miss is .15. They have BYU at 13. SOS being the key reason. Everything else looks good. Claims to even sniff top 4 we'd have to schedule a few top 25 teams. Doesn't expect us to even play in a NY6.

Not trying to be a buzz kill. Just kindly reminding to temper expectations. Hopefully we will be pleasantly surprised.

They need to limit SOS in 2020. The P5s went totally insular. Holding that against BYU, Cinci etc would be wrong.
