Should BYU just accept any offer from the PAC12 regardless if how unfavorable? What if Washington offered to guarantee the game but only if byu paid them $5 million? Of course byu wouldn't do that, it's completely one sided and isn't mutually beneficial. Same thing applies to the current rules the PAC has for its ooc games - byu has a right and obligation to itself to look out for its own interests and not be completely taken advantage of. For example, in order for byu to accept those terms, there should be a guaranteed return game to Provo in the next few years regardless of whether the PAC cancelled this year's game or not, or have a buy out clause that will be enforced if the games is cancelled, etc. The PAC wants to put all the risk on BYU and take nor responsibility for itself. Thata not how a partnership or deal is made and everyone knows that now. Any outrage thats still being perpetuated on Twitter or wherever is feigned and only done to support a preconceived bias against byu.
