BYU needs to be at #9 in the final poll to be guaranteed a NY6 spot. No #9 team has ever been left out of a NY6.
A #10 team has. So yes, where BYU ranks tonight factors in to that. So you have to worry, and see what BYU is up against. Long odds in this rigged system.
