And unlike most sports that you are seeing more parity over the last 30 years or so, it has been moving away from parity over that same period. It's not even close to a level playing field.

And the NCAA doesn't even appear to care anymore, or they are completely powerless to stand up to conferences and mega-programs that seem to have all of the power. You see massive violations of rules, and teams that are already bringing in 200M/year just get a fine and nothing changes because instead of making $100M/year more than other programs, they only may $95M/year more than other programs.
