I think TH was waiting for the rankings b/c he had pre-determined we would have
a bye this week. I don't think it's any more complicated than that.
Let the boys enjoy Thanksgiving with the family. They've earned it. Maybe that was a mistake to just "plan on a bye" but his statement I think shows that having a bye was the plan all along and they let kids go home as a result. That made getting a game this weekend a little more challenging.
