1. After seeing CFP rankings I want BYU to play Cincinnati more than ever. However that game will never happen because Cincy now has NO incentive to play and risk their unjustified elevated ranking.

2. It's frustrating and bewildering why BYU didn't already have at least one additional game lined up for this weekend or next. It never made sense to wait for the rankings to come out. What made sense was to be proactive with a plan to give BYU as many opportunities as possible and to put them in the best possible situation regardless of the rankings. Now, whatever they do, they'll be seen as reactive and calculating. And now, why would any highly rated team want to play BYU? The risk is too great. The way I'm feeling right now is exactly how I felt after the most recent B12 dog and pony show regarding expansion. Disillusioned, angry, and used. It appears Holmoe and Co got too cute, and it ended up biting them, the team, and the fans.

3. The only positive thing from the rankings is that no P12 team jumped over BYU. This really surprised me. I guess the fact that Oregon has only played 3 games was too much of a leap to justify that, even for this committee. But one more Oregon victory and they'll be ahead of BYU, especially if BYU is at home with no game to play.
