BYU had never won in Boise. Every game, even with NFLers like Taysom and Jamaal, were nailbiters and all ended in losses. Boise has proven their program over 20 years. They were ranked in this game because they had earned it. They don't rebuild, they reload. And yet in this year's matchup, BYU completely destroyed the Broncos. That doesn't just happen. Missing a qb has little to no affect on giving up 51 points.

Bottom line there was never going to be a fair assessment by the committee. The only consideration was deciding which excuse to use. Make no mistake, this is a slight against Boise as well. Good ol boys win again.
