BYU was sort of patting itself on the back for a great season and then allowing the players to go home for Thanksgiving as a well-deserved reward. Then they announced the black out for SDSU. None of that said to me "BYU is actively looking to add a quality opponent to the schedule." That was the big mistake in my opinion.
