You are going off of 3rd party information and analyzing this with 20/20 hindsight in a vacuum.
There may have been other variables at play, such as a game with another program and Holmoe has plates spinning in the air and is trying to navigate. Maybe UW had committed to do everything they could to change Pac12 rules (which change week to week). They were serious enough about UW to practice on Monday, *preparing for Washington*, after disrupting the team and coaches' travel plans at personal expense.
You're giving credit to the least credible voices out there.
