In this case, there was a massive disconnect. Every single coach and AP voter had BYU ranked higher than 14. Not a single one of those voters had BYU as far back as 14. To fall back 6 spots lower than where the AP and Coaches poll has BYU shows that the committee was buying into the "BYU is scared to play UW" false narrative.
