either Harding or Johnson. Even if he can shoot the 3 technically at a rate higher than either.
Johnson gives you a guy who can handle the ball in space or in the open court, & with the exception of Wade also looks to be our best off-the-dribble shooter. Neither of our ABBA do that all too well, so I see a clear need for his skillset out there for us.
As for Harding, his athleticism & size make him a much more versatile & effective defender than Knell could ever be. Knell's shooting edge over Harding isn't enough to justify him playing over him as far as I can see.
Either Johnson or Harding (but particularly Johnson) have the skillset & mindset to play PG in pinch, but I don't see that in Knell at all.
I do appreciate that Knell has really conditioned himself well in the offseason though — & he definitely got after it on both ends against Westminster. One game certainly isn't enough to draw too sure of conclusions from, but my guess is he's on the outside-looking-in on our rotations this season yet again. But we probably turn to his shooting in some big matchups this season, too. He looks much more ready to contribute this season than he did last.
