Oh, how I love my 6-year-old teenager!
My son Timmy, playing Battleship in the dining room with my wife, Heather: “2B”
Me, yelling from the living room: “Or not to be!”
Timmy: “What?”
Heather: “To be or not to be, Timmy. It’s a line from Shakespeare.”
Timmy, rolling his eyes — unamused: “Lame, Dad.”
I’m thankful for Heather, the love of my life, and for Timmy, the greatest blessing my life has been given.
