Built a PC 8 years ago, and it seems like SATA expansion ports not really a
thing now? My PC mobo gave up the ghost and I was thinking of building a new PC or just buying one with all the BF deals. All of the PCs are gaming pcs and very little expansion capabilities except for PCI-E.

All of the towers are focused on looking streamlined vs. utility of multiple harddrives, and I like optical drives for ripping to the plex library which is now large and super valuable for my family. I get why the need for optical drives and extra hard drives is not that popular i guess.

Any of you build a new PC lately?
