Bronco said the truth and we hated him for it- that football isn’t the first priority for the team. We lament this as fans but if your kid was on the team you’d certainly prefer this long term attitude to the transactional, asset sort of view big teams have.

It’s why it’s naive to think BYU can ever compete for a championship- these big programs pay players, give them women (and dismiss their misdeeds), make up fake degrees and don’t make them go to class... It’s a formula for good football but not for quality young men.
