Couple of quick hitters from the game.
1. Lohner really stood out to me. Can’t believe he’s a freshman. With his motor and size (and a little discipline to avoid foul trouble) I actually could see him having NBA potential. I know it’s an overreaction but I don’t care. When he starts drilling 3s in addition to his rebounding and aggressive play in the paint he’ll be a star.
2. This team lacks playmaking. We will be terribly reliant on popes schemes to get open looks. Looks like our biggest weakness right now.
3. Zone defense needs some serious work.
4. Barcello is awesome. Love that guy. Also impressed with Harward, Johnson (that kid knows how to run the pick and roll) and Knell. Knell has improved defensively. Disappointed with Lowell, George and wade. Can’t wait to see what Haarms adds to the team
