The part I still don’t understand is apparently our coaches and players were told a game was possible/likely on Monday

They called back the players and had a practice on Monday. Players all tweet 👀. Kalani later says it was for Washington. This was all Monday late afternoon. Yet everybody and their mother had moved on at that point. Everything was reported Sunday night. It was also reported on Sunday night that UW was prepping for Utah and that game was likely. So why did our staff and players get all excited for the game again?
