I’m applying to MBA programs this next fall and have been doing a lot of research/talking with current students. One of my best friends is at Wharton right now and I told him that the HBS kids I’ve talked to have been really understated and sort of have a “yeah, HBS is great but you know you’ll do fine anywhere” attitude. Whereas the Kellogg kids I’d talked with ranted and raved about their experience. He kind of laughed and said, “yeah. I mean when you’re #1 you don’t need to say much.”
