My ranking is based upon a collection of various advanced metrics such as FPI, Strength of Record, Game Control, and a few others. Here's what CFP Playoff, NY6, and rest of the top 25 would shape up based upon that.

Sugar Bowl: 1 Alabama vs 4 Clemson
Rose Bowl: 2 Ohio St vs 3 Notre Dame

Orange Bowl: 5 Florida vs 11 Miami FL
Fiesta Bowl: 8 BYU vs 16 USC
Cotton Bowl: 7 Texas A&M vs 9 Oklahoma
Peach Bowl: 6 Cincinnati vs 10 Georgia

Committee will keep Notre Dame at #2 and Clemson at #3, but metrics still like Ohio St - especially the ones that don't penalize them for fewer games played. Texas A&M jumps from #10 to #7 this week and Florida jumps from #6 to #5. Committee is higher on aTm due to their win over Florida and that likely doesn't change this week as they will probably still be #5 w/ Florida and Cincinnati each dropping a spot from where I have them. I have BYU at #8. I could reasonably see an argument for having them all the down at #11 behind Miami, but odds are the committee still has them at #13 or #14 depending on how far they drop Northwestern. Oklahoma and Georgia both round out the top 10. USC now highest-rated Pac-12 team at #16 following Oregon's loss this week.
