This board, collectively, has seen every pass that Taysom Hill has thrown in a competitive game since 2012. We obviously want him to succeed and know that success will largely be driven by his ability to throw the ball. We know he can run.
That said, Denver has a top 10 pass defense and a bottom half run defense. They were also playing without a QB today. The game plan called for ball control and to limit mistakes so that nothing flukey could keep Denver in it. That is exactly what Taysom executed on. He was 9/16 with at least 3 of those incompletions very wise throw-aways.
Sure there are some things for him to work on - it was not a perfect game. He quarterbacked an offense that produce 31 points against a defense that has been allowing 26 a game. To paraphrase Kalani, the Denver QB's don't play defense.
