I guess the alternative was the Broncos forfeiting and neither team or their players getting paid. NFL is a 2 faced joke of an organization. They made an example of the Broncos because their QBs didn't keep their masks up at all times, and inform them the day before when they have no time to prepare. They punished every other player on the Broncos that works hard and deserves a fair game. And they gave a win to the Saints who are fighting for the top seed in the NFC. It's a joke, and it may have cost the Broncos RB the rest of his season, and potentially some of next season as well.
