Here is why BYU will move up in the CFP rankings
Because absolutely no one agrees with them. I’m sure they were hoping for a few national pundits to hop on their wagon, but literally no one did. They now face enormous backlash and doubling down isn’t going to be a good look.

I think we go up one spot because NW lost, and one more as a concession, so #12

I think this is as much as they will concede because optics > sound analysis.

They don't care nor do they watch and listen to college football analysts.

11/30/20 11:24am
Nor do they, apparently, actually watch the games.

If they really do their biases kick in and they cannot see it clearly.

Apparently, watching games is only for peasants. 🙁

Your right. They could care less.

And northwestern lost and Oregon lost so they won’t jump BYU. #16 was idle and #17 lost

Do you know that not all voters represent P5 schools?
Pretorian
11/30/20 12:59pm
Doesn’t matter. The G5 schools have their bid.

Really, NY6 is the goal but if our Bowl is in a better that average bowl vs a P5

How do we take care of business the next few weeks?
Blue2thebone
11/30/20 2:17pm
Why do they care? National writers and analysts can say they disagree, but in the end, the whole country accepts what
cruiserhead

They care because the college football post-season is revamped every few years

So same thing as last week?
Mr. Scoobs

I think we'll move up because byu's ranking distracts from the actual rankings

Its not that they don't care- they are actively incentivized to rank BYU low because millions of dollars are on the line

Very likely as more games are played all the 2 loss P5’s necessary will move up
Blue2thebone

My pessimistic gut tells me they will dig in rather than produce any appearance of mea culpa. So, 13 at best.

Thats because the AP and Coaches Poll's use Logic, Reason and Common Sense where the CFP Committee does not.
