Really bizarre bathroom problem with my 6 year old?
So my 6 year old has recently forgotten to hold his poop in.

It’s not like he is leaving droppings everywhere but it’s enough to where he will smell like poop, not a fart but poop. We have even found dried flakes on the floor in his room.

He has been well potty trained for the past few years and then all of a sudden....

For the past few days it has become a major issue. I’ve become very upset with him and I have tried to be really encouraging and understanding.

I’m wondering if there is anything that could be making it painful to hold it or painful to push it out. He has been known to drop some seriously massive turds, maybe a recent one tore something? He doesn’t say it hurts?

He is a pretty well spoken mature 6year old so it is really odd and frustrating that he is not talking or telling us what’s up.

We have been feeding him prunes and even had him drink Epsom salt to clean him out (didn’t work). I don’t think it is constipation but it could be.

Anyone with experience in this department?
