Just make them a deal: if they play us, if we win, and if we then get invited to a NY6 bowl, they get half the $ we get from the bowl. If they beat us, they get a quality win on their resume. And who knows, with the way the CFP committee reasoning has gone, even with a loss to us they could move up the rankings.
