Got lost hunting when as a teenager, couldn't get a fire going, got hypothermia
Separated (on purpose) from my Dad & younger brother right before dark and just took a wrong turn on the way back to the truck.
It had snowed the night before and then warmed up that day just above freezing, so the whole forest was soaked from dripping, melting snow and I wasn't as good of a fire starter as I thought I was. My Dad tracked me down in the dark and found me shivering under a tree, built a roaring fire and got me warmed up, and walked me out.
