The WCC had a great day yesterday, continuing its strong start. 5-0 with some
nice wins:
BYU beat 3-0 Big East team St. John's 74-68
#1 Gonzaga beat #11 West Virginia 87-82
San Francisco beat Nevada 85-60
Pacific beat Montana State 74-70 in OT (MSU beat UNLV 91-78)
Santa Clara beat Cal St. Bakersfield 53-47 to improve to 4-0
San Jose St. cancelled vs. Pepperdine, which almost certainly would have resulted in a win by the Waves over the hapless Spartans
The league is looking every bit as good as it has the last several years, and markedly ahead of the MWC for the 3rd consecutive season.
