We watched for 3 hours from a prime position. After an hour and a half, we gave up. 30 min prior to expected pass-through. 60 min past. Then as we were returning home, we got the twitter that they had just passed the St Louis Temple, which is 35-40 min away. So, we turned around and went back. Waited another hour and 15. No dice. We lost focus of watching the road closely for about 10 minutes, as we thought we had 20-30 until game-time. Either we missed them then, or they took a long break when switching drivers. Doesn't really make sense, though, because there's not really a good place to stop between the temple and where we were a little past the Illinois border.

Good time with my 17 yr old son, though. He even made a lit-up prism box Y out of a shoe box while we were waiting. Would have been awesome to put up in the back window in addition to what ever other antics we pulled.
