First time posting, long time reader. I may not be unique in the fact that I can confidently say I’ve read every possible article about BYU that I can get my hands on for at least the last 3 years, and that makes me feel like I’m in good company on on CB. It’s usually just been local articles or excerpts, but it’s kept me going especially during the spring/summer months. Sadly, it took me 3 years to stumble upon CB.

My message today is to say thanks to each of you who try to find any kernel or nugget of truth (or hope) when it comes to BYU football. This season I’ve relied heavily on reading CB posts because I learn things quicker here than waiting for articles. And the best part is, it’s always unbiased and objective 😉

I had to join today to share a kudos to each of you. As I’ve become an avid reader of all things CB these last few months, along with my daily doses of local and national stuff, I’ve learned that many of the local news guys are definitely getting on here to 1) get the hot takes, and 2) - maybe more interesting - to get a pulse on what Cougar nation is thinking and feeling. I can’t tell you how many articles I’ve read this season where I’ve thought “that’s exactly what everyone is saying or arguing about on CB.” Sometimes even down to very specific details. So I believe they really depend on you, and I mean that sincerely.

So the mantle that each of you have carried may be heavy at times as you truly represent Cougar Nation to many of our media experts, and I want to join the fight by standing shoulder to shoulder and lift where I stand as well!
