ESPN was talking like all the ADs would have to approve a change in rules to allow Ohio State in the championship and they thought it might not happen. If that's the case, Ohio State could use a top ten game as a resume builder for their CFP resume.

For BYU it is a huge gamble. You'd have to play at Ohio State, and you'd lose out on a NY6 game if you lose. BYU would be the underdog for sure. But if BYU pulls it off, they would have to be in consideration for the playoffs.
