There are various arguments, but nothing that would cause a true case for anti-trust. They can spin off if they want. Not sure they limit competition, other programs are free to compete with each other.

Could someone sue the NFL if they start a league and try to force their league to play NFL teams? Could the CBA sue the NBA to force the leagues to play? Could teams sue the SEC if they don't allow them to join? Can Utah State sue the P12 if they are "limiting competition" by not allowing them access?

Not an anti-trust lawyer, but I doubt there is a real case.
