Maybe that's true in the long run, in in this specific year 2 ACC teams in the

playoffs hurts BYU because it guarantees that 3 of the 12 playoff spots go to ACC teams due to the Orange Bowl contractual tie-in. It might mean BYU has to jump all the way up to 10 or higher to get a good bowl game. I'd rather have the system hurt the b1g in a year where it also doesn't hurt BYU.
