Yep 2006 was kinda this way, because of some early close losses, that team
Didn’t get a chance to see how good they really were. By the end of the year they really looked like they could play with anybody, they proved they could destroy a mid level P5 (Oregon 5th in the PAC that year IIRC) would have been nice to see if we could beat a top level P5. Easily the best team this Millennium up until now.
