First of all - It's really cool that he came on the show. I think most of the time people in transition like to keep everything close to the vest and not talk a lot about what is going on in their lives. He said that he really loves BYU and I believe him.
-It seems like Mateos will stay unless another team (not Baylor) makes a run at him
-He seemed really happy with where he is leaving the program but recognizes that next year will be a tough year with the schedule and losing some of the players he did
-He is optimistic about O-line but concerned with depth
-He really likes the RB group
-He talked about how he changed over time as a coordinator. This year they simplified the playbook to focus on execution, but focused on showing different looks for the same plays.
-He said one of his hallmarks as a coach was competition between players. You have to show it in practices if you want to play in games.
