Hey accountants- what’s a reasonable fee for handling the financial statements and taxes of a small HOA
Our HOA is 20 homes. We bring in around 15k in dues every year. Our CPA charges $800 to prepare the required financial statements plus another $450 to do our taxes. $1250. Does spending close to 10% of your revenue on an accountant seem normal?

Why not do it yourselves? I'd probably pay him for your taxes but load data into quickbooks and generate financials from
