It’s only one man’s opinion, but many talking heads feel this way. You have to win against a P5-heavy schedule to be playoff-worthy.

We all agree that playoff expansion is needed to keep college football interesting. But for BYU, even if our goal is only NY6, we will still have a hard time cracking that stage by only beating a few P5’s and a handful of G5’s.

I really hope that whatever happens, gives us the consistent opportunity to compete in the post-season, when we deserve it. But watering down the schedules in the meantime isn’t the answer. Keep booking the P5’s, Tom!
