Jay Rick Intervention Needed
Weight loss / poop question. Starting
at the new year, I decided it was time to shed the 7-8 lbs I’d gained over the holidays. So, I cut calories significantly, gave up all the sugary snacks I was eating, got back on my exercise schedule. All pretty straightforward.

Over these 10 or so days, I quickly dropped a couple lbs, which I figure is the “water weight” thing, then dropped another after that.

This is largely expected, I think. I can probably expect to lose about a lb a week, which is great if it continues going in that direction.

But here’s my question: I’ve basically stopped pooping. I know, weird and gross. Like, usually I am very, very regular. But the last several days - it’s not nothing, but it’s not far from nothing.

So, is my body just holding onto everything because it thinks it’s starving? Is this going to hinder my weight loss goals?
