My idea for a Last Second Play from the 20 or so yard line
I'll use the context of the CCU/BYU situation as I believe the play would have worked in that situation and similar situations.

I would have had Zach Wilson sit in the pocket as he did, let the receivers and defense work to the right side of the endzone. Then, Zach rolls right appearing to get ready to throw it into the mob. As a surprise to the defense, he passes the line of scrimmage and is running straight towards them. They'll collapse on him as he now can't throw a forward pass.

But, unbeknownst to the defense, Tyler Allgeier and the OL have aligned on the other side of the field. As the defense approaches on Zach he throws a backwards pass across the field to Tyler who, with the OL in front, walks straight into the endzone for the easy touchdown.

This play would be complicated by a QB spy, but with a 20 yard play I think most defenses wouldn't put a spy as most QB's don't scramble in that situation. Watching the tape of the CCU BYU play they had no spy and sent 5. Zach would have to outrun a DE to the outside, but they all collapsed hard enough that I think Zach makes it out of the pocket cleanly.

I think this play would work close to 8/10 times in this situation as everyone the second Zach crossed the Line of Scrimmage would start running after him leaving the Crossfield backwards pass undefended.
