Who cares about parity? It's about equity. It's about opportunity.

It's about having that opportunity for a 16 seed to beat the number 1 overall seed. It's about having that opportunity for a Miracle on Ice. It's about giving Rulon Gardner access. Legitimate access. Equal access.

That's what sports do. Then there's college football. The FBS crowns a homecoming queen. The FCS crowns a champion.

One is a sport. The other is a grift.
