I mean... even samoan and tongan people often have a european ancestor or two
Hawaii is a whole different level of ethnic diversity though. Most of the Polynesians there (the ones that claim Hawaii and not Samoa/Tonga/fiji/nz... as their heritage) have some mix of japanese/chinese/filipino/poly/and something else.

There is a reason many polynesian people have very regal european rooted first names, and it isn't because they want to adopt white culture.

I know German ancestry is a big thing in Samoa, not sure about the other islands.
