Top players in conference play according to PORPAGATU!
For those unfamiliar w/ PORPAGATU!, it's Points Over Replacement Per Adjusted Game At That Usage! It basically calculates how many points a player contributes to it's team over the course of a game over what a replacement player would provide. It's adjusted for strength of opponent, pace of play, and also a usage adjustment as well (to account for it being more difficult to remain efficient with higher usage). It really only measures offensive contribution, so there's a defensive version of the rating as well. Here's how BYU's players would rank in that particular stat in conference play thus far.

PRPG!
1. Caleb Lohner 4.8
2. Matt Haarms 3.4
3. Alex Barcello 3.3
4. Richard Harward 2.7
5. Gideon George 2.1
T6. Brandon Averette 1.4
T6. Kolby Lee 1.4
8. Trevin Knell -0.7
9. Spencer Johnson -1.3
10. Connor Harding -2.2

Defensive PRPG!
1. Alex Barcello 3.3
T2. Caleb Lohner 2.9
T2. Brandon Averette 2.9
4. Matt Haarms 2.7
5. Richard Harward 2.5
6. Spencer Johnson 2
T7. Gideon George 1.8
T7. Connor Harding 1.8
T9. Kolby Lee 1.7
T9. Trevin Knell 1.7

Net PRPG!
1. Caleb Lohner 7.7
2. Alex Barcello 6.6
3. Matt Haarms 6.1
4. Richard Harward 5.2
5. Brandon Averette 4.3
6. Gideon George 3.9
7. Kolby Lee 3.1
8. Trevin Knell 1.0
9. Spencer Johnson 0.7
10. Connor Harding -0.4

Based upon just the last 3 games Lohner, Barcello, and Haarms should be starting and getting lots of minutes. Harward is 4th best player in conference play thus far, but I don't think we want both Haarms and Harward on the floor together so Harward would be backing up Haarms at C. Those 2 should get 100% of the C minutes unless there's foul trouble. Averette would start in the backcourt alongside Barcello.

The real question then is if Lohner or George can be effective enough at the 3 to play regular minutes there. They both have primarily been playing at the 4 this year. If not, then that leaves either Knell or Johnson playing on the wing. Both have been very up and down as of late. Knell looked much better than Johnson vs St. Mary's, but Johnson looked much better than Knell vs USF. Neither looked very good vs Gonzaga. Harding is probably better option than either of those when 100% healthy, but he's clearly not close to that right now and has been really struggling lately as a result. I'd say probably play Lohner and George each 25-30 minutes and then split the remaining 25 between Knell and Johnson depending on who is playing better. There'll be an additional 15 or so minutes at the 2 for them (plus Harding if healthy) as well. As for Lee, he has "better" numbers than Knell, Johnson, or Harding, but from a positional standpoint I think he's best sitting on the bench as he's only the 5th best PF/C on the team.
