This season is less fun than last year, but only because our team isn’t electric. Also, we watched the guys from last year fight through just about everything through their careers, and to see them all come together and play like they did was fun. That being said, this year is still fun. We very likely won’t be beating gonzaga, and we likely won’t go to the elite eight, but we should make it to the tourney (finally), which we’ll actually get to see this year, and we could easily make the sweet 16 if we get a decent draw. From that point, who knows what happens. It would have been awesome to see what our guys did last year in March, but at least we have Mark Pope at the helm. The man is turning our program around in the best way. I’ll take 22-4 in the regular season 100% of the time.
