You can get a Lincon pretty cheap and newer for the kids.
A newer Ford Fusion might be an even better option. Buick made a decent car in those years.
If it were me I'd go with an ES/IS Lexus. Well I'd go for a 2012 LS 460 but that's probably not what you're looking for.
