But country music as a whole is as good as in other genre of music. And better than a lot.

Today's rap style is complete garbage compared to 80-90's. The same can be said for me with country music. Hated most of the 80-90's country stuff but really enjoy today's artist.

It's impossible to argue music styles and genre. Too many variables. Me personally, I hate the Beatles. IMPO probably the most over rated band ever. But success would argue that. I personally think Prince is one of the if not the greatest musical artist ever. Many disagree. Some of that is because they don't understand/agree with his sexual lyrics, ect.
