I've only gone as far as Missouri from Utah in the last 20 years, so 4 states. I guess that doesn't count.

(Wyoming, Nebraska, corner of Iowa, Missouri). If it did, my in-laws live in St. Louis. We also usually go to Nauvoo, so that adds Illinois (and Iowa again).

My daughter drove cross country 2 years ago to Florida from Utah, as a friend was starting school there. They met up with the friend's family for some vacation time before school started, then my daughter flew back.
