Snow White massive plot hole: can we even trust a Disney story ever again?
Look at this clip below. These bros show up to a mine every single day of their lives. It is absolutely littered with diamonds and various gems, all of which are no less than the size of my fist. So what, you ask?
The largest diamond ever found was the Cullinan Diamond. Discovered in 1905, the diamond was a whopping 3,107 carats and would fill the entire palm of your hand. If priced today, this one diamond alone could be worth up to $2 billion.
AND THESE CLOWNS ARE CASUALLY SITTING ON AN ENTIRE MINE FILLED WITH THEM. Like Sleepy comes rolling out in a minecart holding what alone could be enough diamonds to be worth over $50 billion dollars. AND HE DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A SINGLE CRAP TO GIVE. The donkey kicks the cart and a couple of them fall out of the cart. Have you ever lost $4 billion dollars because a donkey kicked you? This guy has, and he can’t even be bothered to gain full consciousness over it.
This mine is easily worth hundreds of trillions of dollars. And NOT A SINGLE PERSON KNOWS ABOUT IT. No one who ends up seeing hundreds of billions worth of diamonds flooding into the market appears to question the source. These seven little men have totally managed to lock down in total secrecy the world’s single most valuable natural resource. They are heigh-hoing into the equivalent of like 7 earth’s worth of oil fields.
And what do they have to show for it, outside of an exceptionally nonchalant attitude despite each of them having a personal net worth of like 25 Elon Musks? A tiny hut in the forest where they must share all their sleeping and eating quarters with 6 other grown (albeit very tiny) men. Imagine owning like 100 Amazons and deciding you are going to have 6 roommates all of which have extremely consistently annoying personality traits. ONE OF THEM HONESTLY MIGHT EVEN NOT HAVE A BRAIN. And this is all your choice.
Disney needs to address this heinous inconsistency in this plot or we may be left to never trust Disney storytelling ever again.
