CB doctors, I could use your thoughts for my daughter. She is in the ER right now, but they're sending her home
She has horrible abdominal pain that has been building for a few weeks. She went to our primary care physician today, and he suspected appendicitis, and he sent her to the ER. The pain was bad enough she had trouble speaking, and they gave her morphine for the pain.

They did an ultrasound, it was inconclusive. They did a CT scan, and saw nothing. So, they're getting her ready to send her home, and told her to call an OBGYN in the morning--they tend to be hard to schedule. My wife says she looks worse than when she came in. She's dry heaving. The nurse is wanting to get her more stable before sending her home, so he's keeping her there for a bit more. They gave her more morphine for the pain.

As I was typing this, I got another update from my wife. Daughter was looking so bad they reversed the decision to send her home, and they're observing her some more. Morphine isn't quite taking away the pain, so anything less that they might send her home with wouldn't do a thing, and she'd be right back.

If the ER docs are at a loss, what can we do? She had pretty serious abdominal surgery 2 years ago. We're in Utah County--any other doctor suggestions?
