Agree with this take. Often abdominal pain

Is tough for us ER docs. It feels like half the time we get it figured out. The other half we are at a loss.

I have found that often the body takes a little time to “declare” its self. Meaning there is something going wrong but we just can’t see it yet to quantify. I’ll often bring these patients in for observation for 24 hours so that if something progresses we know very quickly etc.

Are they 100% certain it isn't an appendicitis? Once it ruptures, things get really bad, really fast.

Yes, same daughter, but not diabetic related--at least that's the theory now. Endometriosis is the guess now.
