Need recommendations. Looking to get a fitbit or similar type activity tracker for my daughter's bday.
She's only going to be 12, so she doesn't need something super nice. She does have access to an Android phone without a cell phone plan for 1 hr and 15 mins each day. (As long as she's not in trouble.) We are an Android family.

My main thing is I want something simple that she can track her steps/calories, etc. She's super active/fit, involved in multiple sports etc. I think she'd just get a kick out of it and using it to set goals.

My wife is saying a fitbit simply because that's what she has. I don't think it has to be a full-featured smart watch, simply because she doesn't even technically have a cell phone. I don't mind spending something like $100 as long as it's not garbage that will fall apart in a couple months. That's my concern with the super cheap amazfit type of bands.

What do you guys say? Recommendations?
