Normally it’s a college degree and pass a full background check

But I think with COVID-19 they are even accepting Hs diplomas for some classes. So yeah if you have kids going to BYU they could teach part time and work a flexible job. I wouldn’t count on it being like this forever but it’s good for some while the conditions are right.
