and gave us an alternative learning option (basically moved us to a different OR room) that day. It was NBD, no issues for students who opted out. The senior resident in charge of the team was totally cool about it.

No. In my experience elective D&Cs didn't happen much at academic hospitals. Never saw one.

1. It would only apply to OB/GYN and not general practitioners in even design.
